The strategy I chose was the D's Do's and Due's. I chose this because I thought it would help me the most in managing my time. I chose to do a D's Do's and Due's for 3 classes. The first was My PSY 322 class, I also did it for my EAR 117 class and CLS 105. For my PSY 322 class its helped me get my study guide done on time and know when my readings are due. For my EAR 117 class I have a test this week and its helped me plan out when and how much I should study each day leading up to the test. But this strategy has helped me most with CLS the most. There's a lot to do in this class and it helps me keep all my stuff together and it makes sure I get my stuff in on time. As I was saying before I chose this strategy because it lays out a schedule. I have a hard time keeping to a solid schedule sometimes and this strategy gives me a plan that I know will be there and that I can change monthly. I had to make some adaptations because I don't have the actually "Cuse" planner. I have the student-athlete handbook. The layout was a little different so mine looks a little different. This strategy has been effective so far. I like it because I can make sure I get all of my work done and cross it off when I'm finished. I like all of the other strategies, but for me this one works the best.
It was interesting to see how matt chose the dos and dues and nto the fritter finder. Me and matt are the same in the way that we have a hard time keeping to a solid schedule. Just because i chose the fritter finder does not mean i dont think this is a really good strategy as well. I like how you know what you have coming up and when you need to do it with this strategy.
ReplyDeleteI agree with John on the fact that it was interesting that matthew chose to do the dos and dues instead of the fritter finder which is what I chose. It is probably because he had a better understanding of how to use the dos and dues then I do which is good because that just means he's that much farther ahead in the course then I am and it reminds me that I still have a lot of work to do.
ReplyDeleteThis strategy was very helpful to me because it helps me to know when i need to get started on an assignment so i can have enough time to complete it early and still another day or so to look over it. This strategy works best when you have a essay, project, or big homework to do thats not due in more than two weeks.
